APIS800 combines the state of the art technology of TIRS - the Telephone Incident Response System with APIS – the Asset Protection Information System.

  • An incident report is called into a toll-free number to an IVR system (Interactive Voice Response)
  • The caller uses the telephone touch tones to identify location and other incident detail
  • The caller also leaves a voice message at the end to summarize the details of the call
  • Based on the priority of the incident and geographic location, key respondents are notified:
    • By phone – an automated call is received from the IVR with incident details and the voice message
    • By email – an email is sent to key respondents with text details and the voice message attached as a .wav file
    • Online – the call automatically creates an online incident record within the APIS system and the .wav file with the voice message is automatically attached to the incident record as digital evidence. The online record may be automatically assigned through the system to the person responsible for follow up and manages the workflow to resolution accessible online through a secure website
